Export pallets work harder than domestic ones
An export pallet gets lifted, stacked, strapped and shaken for weeks. It might sit in a container yard or ride a vessel through rough weather. Weak boards and uneven decks are the first things to fail, and a failed pallet means damaged goods and an unhappy buyer overseas.
We build new pallets to handle that journey. For international shipments we can supply heat treated pallets with the ISPM 15 mark, which most countries require for wood packaging. Many shippers moving freight through the Port of Vancouver need these details right before the load leaves.

Questions we hear a lot
Most overseas destinations require wood packaging to meet ISPM 15, which means heat treatment and a stamp. Rules for some shipments to the United States differ. Tell us your destination and we’ll confirm.
It shows the wood was treated to kill pests, usually by heating the core to at least 56 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes. The mark also identifies the treatment facility so customs can verify it.
